Ok, I recently replaced all 6 injectors in my truck after it sat for 2 years. It ran fine for a couple of weeks then one of the batteries stopped holding a charge. Replaced batteries and no more starting issues. Now it has an intermittent stalling issue. The first few times it did this it kind of stumbled for a couple seconds then would shutdown. It would have a hard starting problem after and sometimes shutdown again within seconds. This last time it went dead pedal like symptoms for about 6-7 seconds than shutdown. Same hard starting but started and drove fine for a few miles back home. Sometimes it happens after only driving a mile sometimes won't happen for 10 miles or more.

I know there is no injector leak-down problems as I left it sitting 2 weeks and it starts right up.

I'm thinking bad FCA but the dead pedal issue has me thinking maybe a bad APPS sensor? Last time the APPS had the dead pedal issues with my truck it never stalled. Maybe still an FCA issue that is causing the fuel flow to almost shut off and once pressure drops enough if can only idle but then eventually shutdowns completely?

Anyone had similar issues?

 

Well it finally stalled and wouldn't restart at all. Bumped the key and listened for the lift pump and nothing. Not bad for the original pump 205k miles.
