warranty work
couple weeks ago, packed the slide in camper on the truck and took off for the weekend. Get back and notice a shimmy in the seat. A couple weeks later the shimmy becomes a wiggle and a squeak.
Send the wife in with the truck to the dealer to get the offending u-joint replaced on the rear drive shaft.
They replaced the middle u-joint on the rear drive shaft as it was a "safety" issue that day and told her to come back in a couple days to get the "front two u-joints replaced"
Sure enough, looked at the invoice today after the work was done they replaced the centre u-joint rear drive shaft and re and re the front two axels and replaced u-joints...
All under warranty
(Ok, all under the $100 deductable)
Heck, I didn't even know the front ones needed replacing! The only time a dealer does work you didn't ask them to and it's ok, is when it's under warranty....
