Hey everyone just need a little input and not sure where to post it i looked but couldn't find it... i have a 2006 3500 simple question but i don't know the answer i just bought this truck and want to know does it run a vp44? i talked to cummins and they said no that i have a gear pump instead? is that true? he said 2003 was the last year for the vp44? and if i do have this gear pump are they any good? ty in advance if anyone can help

Last year of the vp44 is 02. Your truck has a CP3 injection pump.
