vibration only when accelerationg

my 05qc seems to vibrate bad when i'm accelerating, when i'm at a steady speed or coasting it doesn't seem to vibrate but when i'm accelerating it vibrates sometimes worse then others, i have new u-joints in front a new driveshaft in back, i know the ball joints are getting bad but i'm just wondering if it could be anything else

I'm having a similar issue with my cruiser at work. Do you have a standard or automatic transmission? Could be the torque converter (in my case) or clutch slipping? Either way it's worth a check. Check the rear also, maybe something in there is letting go. Wish I could name a $10.00 part to replace It may help others to know what you do with your ride…..towing, plowing, is it lifted (wheel hop), programmers can cause the transmission to go crazy not knowing when to shift or hold torque? Hang in there somebody within will have the answer!

I'm a little surprised no one else has posted but in combination having the box and a single (stock?) clutch it sounds like it's letting go. If it were me I'd be tearing into the clutch and looking at that first. It's almost obvious that would be the issue. Boxes are nice to have but they can cause some real trouble. (I know you don’t want to hear that) It's not much money to do a clutch yourself, take a look at everything while you’re in there! If the mileage is even close to being high or you “work” the truck or just that you’re hard on the go pedal…. that’s the weak point. Having a box/programmer of any kind puts untested stress on parts that stock things weren’t meant to endure. I just know somebody is reading this and saying…”you play, you pay!” I like to play so I never intentionally will say that, it’s a bad omen!
