Vibration issue question

I'm having a problem of while at a stop light the exhaust will resonate(vibrate) into the cab of the truck driving me nuts. When I got the exhaust installed about a year ago it was quiet (not resonating) about 3-4 months later it started. took it back to get checked out everything was tight no problems or reasons for the vibration. I was able to put a rubber strap on one hanger to stop the exhaust from vibrating, it worked and I was happy up until now. After a 6500km trip to L.A. and back pulling my 5ver last month the vibration is back and no matter how tight the strap I can't make the noise stop. Got the exhaust checked out and everthing is tight and was told that something is not balanced properly in the motor and causing the excessive vibration. Any ideas or what to look at that could cause this. torque converter, injectors, turbo.

I would check the alignment bar that's welded on the exhaust pipe just below the down pipe, this is the bar that goes into the bell housing of the transmission. I had a truck with a similar problem you are describing. The vibration would only happen when at idle...We had to bend the bar so that it would sit straighter in the hole of the bell housing and the vibration went away...

checked out the bar and corrected the bend now it's more straighter going to hole mount. didn't help much. Brought truck in to get checked they found injector #5 bad. still didn't cure exhaust problem. found muffler leaking at front pipe, got it rewelded, nope not that either. The vibration (lack of a better word) is actually getting worse. Now it does it in park or netruel also. Does anyone have any other ideas of what to check. thanks inadvance

Is it idleing rough after the injector was replaced? Can you feel it in the doors while driving? the reason I say this is that my truck started idleing rough and took it to the dealer multiple times and they kept saying it was an injector but all of the tests that they ran said the injectors were good. finally it turned out to be the torque converter bolts were backing out of the flex plate. finally they came out enough to start making an awful noise. new flex plate and tc fixed the problem. I hope this isn't the prob that you are having but figured I would throw it out there. My exhaust is still vibrating real bad also though. I guess I will get under it tommorrow and check the peice that goes into the bell housing. Let me know if you find a fix.

Eli

not really seems to be as smooth as diesel can get, very slight vibration when holding hand on side of truck while in neutral, but in drive it is alot more. any way to check tc bolts easily?
