Vibration On Acceleration

My 04.5 2500 CTD 2 wheel drive automatic has 98k on the clock. Last week, for no apparent reason it began to have a slight vibration on acceleration and as long as I keep my foot on the pedal. It does it at all speeds. As soon as I let it coast the vibration is gone.

Any ideas would be helpful.

When my truck was having a vibration on acceleration it was a bad carrier bearing on the drive shafts. I experienced that twice, once under warranty at about 35K-fixed by my dealer, then again at about 40K, fixed out of my pocket, I installed a one-piece driveshaft. NO vibrations now of any kind. Worth the little extra cost over replacing all the joints on the shaft, you should replace all of them at the same time.
