u joints?

i want to get some spare u joints for my truck since my truck is used primarly for drag racing. the front driveshaft and the rear driveshaft ones are the ones id like to have spares of. are there any aftermarket ones that are better than stock ones and if so any part #'s? also are there any other u joints on the truck that would tend to snap at the drag strip? thanks in advance. justin

Check out www.rockauto.com they have great deals on U joints.
Also, they carry full line of AC Delco and Precision U Joints. All of the precisions are greasable.
The premiums from Delco are greasable also.

Only way to go. Torque and extra power drys up U joints like they are going out of style.

Most non-greaseable u-joints are stronger than the greaseable types.

Yeah but the problem with the newer U joints is lack of lubrication.
Once they start to dry up then they fail.
They are not breaking from stress and rarely due just 'break'.
The joint usually start to burn up and then vibrate etc.
