Turbo Whistle

Yesterday my '04 HO started to have a turbo whistle almost everytime I accelerated. Until then there was only a whistle when it was under a load or the weather was just right. Quite frankly it is to much.

I have a BHAF and the (I forget what it is called) the smooth intake to the turbo.

Any idea how to minimize the turbo whistle??

Well I certainly appreciate the helpfull comments.

My turbo whine is way to loud! I do not understand why all of a sudden it gets loud at 15K miles when I haven't done any mods in the last 10K miles.

Any real help would be appreciated....

a friend of mine had that happen to him when he changed his torque tube, the rubber boot on his turbo slipped of and the whine sounded like he had a jet engine under his hood...sounded kind of cool to me...but check the clamps on the rubber boots...

That's the only thing I can think of. Do you have guages? Notice a drop in boost? Any power loss?

I have recently purchased a brand new 2005 3500, i really like the whine the turbo makes when it spools up. Is there any way i can make it louder withuout damaging it or the motor?

Take out the silencer ring and replace the intake tube with something else... See my gallery.
