Recently swapped my early 04's blown engine for one from a salvaged truck with 125k. Added 90hp DDP nozzles, ARP head stud kit & a boost elbow. Truck already has a FASS fuel system, Monster Ram intake & max tow guages(ext temp, trans, boost). While swapping the turbo over noticed it has a 2nd gen turbo(cracked at that) & manifold so I'm on the hunt for the right turbo now. Plans with it are daily 90% of the time and I also haul my horses(6-7k lb with trailer) a few times a month throughout spring -fall. I appreciate a good sounding turbo and all the power I can get. Not really planning on anything over 6-700hp wise as the end goal. •What turbo would y'all suggest and why? •It has/had a Bully Dog tuner that I personally hate so contemplating going back to Smarty or maybe try Edge, opinions? •What else would you suggest to get while we have it in the shop? 😆 Thanks ahead!
