I took of the air filter tubes that go to the turbo and was checking out the turbo. Is that fan blade inside the turbo supposed to freely spin just by touch? I just want to make sure my turbo isn't shot. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I thought I had read somewhere on here that you should not be able to spin it.

Yes, it should spin freely and easily. There should only be the most minute amount of play in the shaft too.

 

another dumb question... where is the shaft or which part?
