280 for me. The temp will go back up right after shut down about 20-30 degrees.

Are you guys that are talking about 325 or less at pre-turbo or post turbo. I sat at dinner for ten minutes at 75 degrees outside temp. i just drove probably for 5 miles tops and at pre-turbo it never went below 400. I did shut the a/c off to get it to that.

I have pre and post EGT. The post is lower then the pre. I believe the post EGT is the correct one to use for the cool down temp set point. It is just on the discharge side of the turbo outlet. The pre EGT is in the manifold and the iron stays hot after a heavy pull. Without a load, the post EGT cools down quickly (less then a minute to less then 300*) After a hard pull, it takes much longer to cooldown. I was hoping that the new Quad modules would have cooldown option.

Mine is pre-turbo, in the manifold and it cools down to 320 fairly quickly.

yeah I was also hoping for the Quad Commander to have a cooldown option soon, but I couldnt pass up the deal I found on one, so I got it. Maybe mine will be able to be updated if they every add that as an option.

I've seen as much as a 50F increase after shutdown - latent heat in the manifold / turbo / head.

Heat soak

The same thing happens with fluids in your truck. After shutdown, the fluids stop moving and soak up some of the heat from the engine.

I've turned my truck off and turned the key back on which allows the guages to read and have never seen an increase of more than 8-10 degrees, most of the time there is little to no increase at all on mine.
