turbo charger model?
I have an 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Diesel, the turbocharger went out on it.
I have been trying to find out what model it is, I do know that it is a Holset turbo. I would also like to upgrade it if at all possible. The Dodge dealer could not even tell what the model was.

It's basically a HY-35 but it has a new titanium compressor wheel that's a little more efficient as well as a new compressor housing with the forward-facing outlet. Nice turbo. I think it has a 9cm^2 turbine outlet while the HX series usually had a 12cm^2 outlet.
A slightly larger turbine wheel would probably let you squeak out a little more power and fuel economy but you'd spool a touch later too.
That's what I have on mine.
