Turbo boost jumping

My boost gauge is jumping around very quickly. I'm pulling a 14k trailer, psi went to 40. I try to keep it down by letting off the fuel. Now it will jump around and on a hill went to 0 psi until I downshift and then went to 27 to32. Got it back home and am trying to get it going.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!

Mechanical gauge or electronic? do you have lag in power when boost goes to zero? Are you using stock sensor? Any codes setting or check engine light? Hear any noise like loud hissing sound when boost goes to zero?

man gauge in intake manifold. lost all power when it went to 0. no light or codes. No noise like it has a leak. Suspect waste gate controller wiring or sticking. I don't know how to test it without a scanner.

Thanks to all of you that use this this forum. I found the problem, the wires going into the turbo controller had worn off the insulation and where shorting out to each other. Some shrink wrap and tape, road test and it's ready to go. THANKS AGAIN.
