TSB on CP3 gear

Does anyone have a copy of this.
I'm taking my 03 in to see if they can rephase the pump gear to cut down the knock. Engine is still under warranty with 71,000 miles but I'm the 2nd owner, so might have to pay the deductible? But if I had a copy of this TSB, maybe I'll save a few bucks.
I'm assuming TSB stands for "technical service bulletin" right?
Just out of curiosity what exactly does CP3 stand for, I know it's a pump pressuring fuel for the common rail, is it "common pressure 3 cycle" or something like that?

I looked at the TSBs and there isn't one for that. As far as I remember it was someone on their own found the timing of the cp3 gear could be out which makes the clatter noise. It was a matter of rotating it anywhere from 90* to 180*. If you do a search it should come up. I found it for the p7100 pump not the cp3.

I had found this from before,

I pulled the cp3 drive gear loose and rotated everything until I hit a sweet spot and now no more noise, that was 6 months ago. Dodge also has a TSB addressing this except they say to change out the gears.
Bad injectors can also definitely make an engine sound like its coming apart. FYI the factory fuel filter is marginal at best for keeping the fuel clean enough for 20,000psi+ fuel systems. GM had a rash of failures before they went to a 2 micron fuel filter, havent heard much about Dmax injector problems since then.
Is there a list of TSB's here, I've never seen any.

Hey this quoting thing is fun.

Maybe I'm hoping Minwy can chime in

If you are still under warranty Dodge has a TSB out for loose fitting drive gears causing noise, under the TSB they will replace the gears if they determine thats the cause of the noise.
I was looking at http://dodgeram.info/ at TSB's but no luck on anything like this

that's site I was looking at. Can't find anywhere about a TSB mentioned. Hopefully someone who has seen the TSB will chime in.

I don't think there is a TSB for this but it does work. We switched my CP3 to a stage II and most of the clatter went away. You just have to pop the gear off with the puller and rotate engine a little and reinstall gear with the lock washer and nut.

Well, they just did it today, It's hard to tell the difference, might be less of the hollow knock I was hearing, maybe more of the diesel cackle, maybe I'm just hearing less of one and more of the other, maybe I'm full of it, who knows. Only cost an hour of labour, but it was worth a try.
Just sounds like a Dodge.
