Hello all,
I have been having trouble with the automatic headlight switch. Sometimes when I open the door to get in, the chime goes off like the headlight switch was left on. At other times, after I have been driving with the headlights on, I turn off the switch and open the door to exit, I get the same chime like the switch is still on. I can usually fix this by cycling the switch a few times. This morning the truck will not start, just clicks like the batteries are dead. When I first opened the door, I got the chime even though the switch was off. Is there something more to the automatic system than just the switch? Is replacing the switch likely to solve the problem. Has anyone else had this issue?
