I was sitting there idling, and looked down and my led light came on. The one by the temp gauge. Then my ABS came on along with check engine, air bag light, brake light, and my speedo and odometer quit also. The rpm, temp, and oil pressure gauges are working and truck runs fine. I tried to code it out with the key but no codes. Smarty said it was unknown code. Any Ideas? Thanks.

 

I'm not gonna say for sure what it is, but the same thing happened on mine, and we basically have the same truck, and on mine it was a battery blown up. Overcharged I guess. I was driving down the road, and everything you just described happened, but the truck ran fine. Then got home, and went to start it back up, and nothin. Looked under the hood, and my battery was about twice the size it should be, and there was acid everywhere. Took it to the dealer to see what was up,and they told me it was a loose gauge wire that was making the battery overcharge. I call bs though, they just wanted me to pay for it. The same thing happened on my buddys 06 and it was teh voltage regulator. But either way, it acts like the alternator quit working, so you might check that as well. Hope that helps

 

Thanks for the info. I went home that day and tried to take my smarty off but the vin was locked. I called Bob Wagner and he was awesome and helped me get that going. I took the edge ez off and then started the truck and all the lights went off and everything was fine. I put the smarty back on and have been running it the last two days with no problem. Havent put the edge on back yet. Bob said it could be TPIM module. Your truck looks awesome and I appreciate the advice. Take care.
