truck is a 03 4x4 6-speed with 35 and just turned a 121,xxx. last nite i was driving and i went to shift from 4th to 5th and it was really hard. thought out the nite i reaized that i shifts hard into every gear and when its in netural and you move the shifter back and forth its kinda hard. the clucth pedal push in just fine and is working good. so i pulled the shifter top off and i see a brass color metal what could it be???????

if there is brass colored metal shaving floating in the oil, its your worn away synchronizers(sp?) thats why its hard getting it into gear.
