Transmission Morning Slip

Hi guys, until two days ago the truck work fine , yesterday morning when i shift into D, it hardly move and it have a lot slipage, reverse work fine, and the truck work fine the rest of the day.
Actually going over the 80K.

Any idea.

This is converter drain back over night.
Common with some miles on them. Start it, go to neutral for 30 seconds or so, then drive it.
When you park it for the night, make sur ethe shifter is all the way into park, it may help.

Thanks for the info, i tried but it wont help, i let it idle in neutral for 5 minutes and still slip until , I asume , reach operational temperature. I will change today the filter and the trans fluid to see if it help.

I believe the TC won't fill in park. My Dodge work van 2001 does this. Been doing it I guess 10 years now.

Not good for sure. Try the filter and fluid change but my guess is you have a clutch pack leaking.
