Transfer case - Is it the same on the 48re and 6-spd??
Is the transfercase the same on the 48re and the 6-speed? On this 600 vibration thing it seems the 4X4 trucks with the 6-speed don't have it like the guys with the 48re. Wondering if the transfercase is different??

According to the specs, both transmissions use the same two transfer cases. They are the NV271 and NV273. The NV273 is the electronically engaged model found usually in the Laramie equipped trucks.
