transfer case fluid change
I plan to change my transfer case to synthetic this weekend. Could someone please post the torque specs on the fill and drain plugs and fluid capacities. Also some pointers from the experienced. Thank you. I plan to do the transmission and power steering to Amsoil in the near future. I've seen a .5 to .7 increase in mpg from changeing the front and rear diffs and the engine over. My last tank netted 20.2 hand calculated.

It already has synthetic Mopar ATF +4 in it. I think about 3 quarts is what it takes to fill.
I don't torque mine. I just tighten them snug and call it good.
Make sure you remove the top plug first then the bottom. You don't want to drain it all out then learn you can't get the top one undone for some reason.
Just drain out the bottom. Put the buttom plug back in ....fill until it comes out the top and put in the top plug. You are good to go.
