drive down the road, after it shifts to third manually pull it back to 2, if it revs like it's in neutral you have a k/d band problem

What kind of VB did they put in? I know when I installed the DTT VB in my old 03 I also had to install a voltage regulator spliced into the PCM wiring so it would shift properly. It's possible that your trans is starting out in 2nd gear instead of first too. That is real bad for the trans....

OK. So they put stock parts back in. Did your trans shift like this with the old Valve Body in it? If not then I would lean towards an improperly adjusted or defective valve body....

I believe that the truck overall shifts better and will haul as@ but the problen is if i pull this truck up to a curve and stop then push all the way down on accel it wont rev up to go over . the outher new problem sence rebuild it studders on take off 1-2nd the last and most anoying is when you come to a stop it fells like your holding the brake and accel at the same time when infact im only holding break win you let off the break it leaps then amost stops??? went to dealer after they said its the transmission and i told them it was just rebuilt and they now say that they will reevaluate it win there mech gets back from dodge school so i left it there for that . they said it need a new vb new t/c and new rebuild hah but after telling them it already had them put in now they will check the engine
for the codes i orig gave them ???!!! remember my truck has 99400 miles and i believe they wanto avoid warranty work until they get a big fat check on the tranny then theyll fix the engine prob??!!! [bounds dodge] help.

The symptoms you just described sound like a torque converter issue. Sounds to me like there is more than one issue here too. PM me and I will direct you to a guy at another site that is a transmission wizard.....

I am a long way from an expert, but could beefing the tranny put a strain on the torque converter?

I was wondering if tightening the tranny would bring out the worst in a worn torque converter. Still hard to figure how that would keep the engine from revving.
