Tranny overheat light

I have been having an intermittent issue with the tranny overheat light coming on while driving. It occurs when there is water on the roadway and when it happens the tranny drops out of overdrive. It will happen 3-4 times in about a 10 minute period and then run normal. Truck has 215K on the clock and I changed fluids out at 165K, along with solenoid and sensor. Anyone have any kind of input? I am thinking that an electrical connection is getting wet and sending bogus signals to the ecm.

Thanks in advance

Gary

you may be getting an electronic interruption between tranny and Gage. check that . seems it maybe lose or allowing water to interfere with signal.
