tranny left and down right and up?????????
Are there any internal differences between the tranny where rev. is left and down vs right and up or did they just change the position of reverse?

Yes -- Totally different transmissions by two totally different manufacturers.

I have the G56 is it better or worse than NV5600. G56 built heavier or ? Any idea why the change besides reverse is easier to hit with the G56

nv5600 is heavier, cast iron case, 360# monster

the g56 is alum case, nice trans too.

thanks I am trying to learn about this new truck I had a 97 5spd it was broke alot after mods I hope this one holds up better
