Tranny Fluid & Rear/Front Diff ?

How much of each will i need for my 48,000km service. I think the ATF+4 is 4 litres and the fr/rr diff fluid is approx 3.5 litres each. Is this correct ? Also is it worth spending the money on the Redline for the diffs or would Valvoline diff fluid be enough ? I currently run the Valvoline Premium blue in the engine.

If your a maintenance nut like me, buy a mag-hytec cover for the diff. No, I'm not associated with mag-hytec, just a satisfied customer.

Check them out: www.mag-hytec.com

Lucey - check out the pml covers, they are just as good as the mag hytecs but are much less expensive.

Most people seem to use mobil 1 75w90 diff fluid, and some that tow really heavy use 75-140. I'm not familiar with the valvoline diff fluid, but if it's fully synthetic I'm sure it would work fine. If I recall correctly, the front takes about 2.5-3 quarts and the rear takes 3.5 quarts. This last time I replaced my rear diff cover with a PML. It now takes 5 quarts. The trans if you just drain the fluid and filter should be about 6.5 quarts to refill.
