Tramsmission braking

I have a 05 Ram with the 48RE tramsission. A friend told me that he heard that it may be possible to get a program, possible from Dodge, that would increase the tramsission braking while in the Tow Haul mode. Has anyone heard of this?

Nope, total fabrication. OD will never give good engine braking because its driven off a sprag clutch. Lower gears need the TC to stay locked and that takes an external controller like one for an EB. Without the EB there is little engine braking on a diesel anyway because there is no airflow control, they take a full breath EVERY revolution.
