tps or apps sensor reset procedure?
always having power problems with my truck. did some research today and maby the prob is the tps orapps sensor. is this how i reset it?? dont want to screw it up.
disconnect battery for 30 min with key in run position.
30 min later turn key off and reconnect batteries
key to run and slowly push pedal all the way down and wait couple secs.
release peddle.
key to off.
wait, then start truck.
that will hopefully reset those sensors. right?? have been having real bad luck with my220k ctd. want to make sure this is the proper way to do this. thanks. no codes for my truck. truck just really lags power. wont even think of putting furniture in box to move. no gauages. 3 downloaders and 3 trannys. hopefully this works?

tried that. did not work. one other thing. guy at tranny shop says volts for apps (i think apps is what he said) is way too low. its at .5 - 3.5 max. was told to take to a dealer to adjust. how can i adjust? any links. could low volts be the prob? anyone out there got any info. thanks
anyone still reading this, it f ing worked, WOOH HOO. tried it again and waited an hour and it actually worked. i highly suggest anyone lacking power tries it. its like i have a downloader. anyone whos truck is fine wont believe the difference. i actually have a truck the runs good. man i am SO excited. i have about 2.5 more mpg in town, from 9 befor now at 12ish. cant wait to see if i get smoke when its light out. WOW! anyways, try it out if you are lacking power. off to go drive some more and finally be happy for the first time in a year and a half and over 100k
