Tires 305/65/R17

Hi, I currently have about 60,000 miles on the stock BFGoodrich tires and it's about time for some new ones. Does anyone know if the BFGoodrich all-terrain T/A size 305/65R17 will fit?? I have a stock 2006 ram 3500 4x4.http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overv...t-a-ko/44.html

They will fit on any 3rd gen SRW 4x4 Ram 2500 or 3500. I have just under 50,000 miles on my 285/70/17 BFG AT KOs. I run 65psi and rotate every 7,500 miles.

they will fit just fine. I have had mine for about 25K and they have that left in them as well.

Thanks,

Jay

Will they fit 2wd?

Does any one know if the 305's will rub on a 2WD?

Currently running the typical BFG AT 285/70/17's and at full lock the sidewall is pretty close to the controll arm.

I wanted to get the 305s when I upgraded, since they're an E rated tire, but the high price (an extra $60 + per tire) kept me away.

If anyone finds a good deal on them let us all know! Thanks

The E-Rating is great but D-Rated tires work just fine on these trucks. I ran BFG 315s and 285s on my 03 and did a lot of towing and I never had an issue. I just picked up a set of 285s BFG ATs for my truck because I just can't get into the Mud Terrain tire feel. I guess I'm just getting too old. I'm gonna sell the ones on my truck which are at half tread.....

Not to counter my neighbor, Dodgezilla, I felt the D-rated tires were a little soft in the sidewalls and made for a bouncier ride (in my SRW CC Superduty).

Plus, if you're going to be towing anything with any weight...

Else, D-Rated tires work just fine.
