Tire pressure and Diff question

Can someone please confirm the correct tire pressure on stock tires for my 03 please? Also what is the correct diff oil weight to use? Lastly when I change the oil in the diffs is there any new gaskets or silicone i need to use when i close them back up? TIA

Tire pressure is listed on the door sticker, however it is really a matter of preference. 50 psi in the rears will give a softer ride but worse mileage. "E"s are 80psi max tires and should be run close to that if towing heavy.

You can use 75-90w gear oil that is GL-5 rated synthetic. If towing heavy often, go to 75-140w. Some have reported chatter when the oil has been changed so some additive might be required. I never needed it in mine.

Re-use the stock gasket. It's good for two or three changes.

Last question. Did search this but really didn't see an answer. How much below the plug do I fill each diff with stock covers? Aprox 4 quarts in the back and 3 in the front?

TIA

My factory cover had a fill line stamped on the outside. It was about 3/4" below the fill hole. The owners manual says to fill up to the line,+ or - 1/2".

To me that means you could fill just about to the hole and call it good.

7 qts should give you plenty.

Being I pulled my covers off to drain all of the gear oil out I fill it until it just started to run out and that was 10K ago. It took 7.5 Qt's of gear oil to fill them both.
