Throwing Codes, need help
Throwing Codes, need help
Hey guys i need some serious help. My dads truck is throwing the codes of:
P2509 ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent, what does this mean?
P0628 Fuel Pump Relay Circuit Low, or Fuel Lift Pump Control Circuit Low. What does this mean?
P0477 Exhaust Pressure Control Relay Low. And what does this mean?
its on a 2004 dodge 305horse 6speed
Sorry guys im dumb when it comes to this stuff. thanks for all the help tho!

This one can happen if you just un plugged the LP and turned the key on. It happens everytime someone changes their lift pump and unplugs it. If that was the case it will clear itself.
But with all of the others I don't think it's just the LP.
P2509 could be a ground or loose wire. It's saying that the power supply is not consistent to the ECM.

There are a couple big harnesses into the ECM. I go underneath on the drivers side and look on the side of the block.
looking for chafe's or loose plug.
Then check and clean the grounding wires from the battery(s). Should have a ground strap from the block to the frame too.
There is a plug for the lift pump that goes into the back of the fuel filter canister. But I think the big assumption here is there is a sporadic power flicker and this could cause the LP code and such because it's like the power gets flipped.
Have you checked batteries, they holding a good charge?

The batteries are clean and they are only 4 days old.
Sometimes it will cut out and sometimes it wont but it always throws them codes
