Tappet valve finger broke?
A buddy of mine bought a new 03 diesel 6 speed. He only had 900 miles on it when this happened. I was wondering what would cause this and if there is anything to be worried about from here on in?

I do not recall reading about any problems even close to this here on DTR. Could just be a freak one-off occurance.
