I am using 0W40 full synthetic Oil....

How often should I change the oil filter, should I use the same filter for the duration of the oil or should I change out the filter before the oil change is due and just top up the engine oil??

I run 10K between changes and change the filter at 5K.

 

What oil filter do you use? The Fleetguard Stratapore LF16035 should hold up for 10K.
