Switching to Synthetic

My truck has 111,500 miles is it too late to switch it over to synthetic engine oil? The previous owner ran only conventional oil.

Nope, switch over. The only thing you can do now is reap the benefits.

You may be overwhelmed with the choices of oils. Really, any full synthetic you want to run is going to be fine. They are pretty much all comparable.

Do you live in a place w/ bitter cold winters?

I go back and forth between conventional and synthetic...truck has 190K no oil related problems.
