For sure! BF Goodrich T/As caused Death Wobble!

After someone suggested that I get rid of my BFG T/As (285/70/17 E), I purchased a set of Nitto Dura Grapplers 285/70/17 E. Well! I now have over 30,000 miles on these tires and have hit the same pot hole that caused DW numerous times, and not a single incident! By the way, these are the best and smoothest tires I've ever had on this truck! Hope this helps you guys before spending big money on suspension parts.

The 1st question Thuren and Carli ask when a customer complains of dw is are they running BFG's?
For whatever reason, the Dodge's just don't like them.
I know a guy who's been running the 315-70-17's from new with no dw,but has experienced sidewall failure aired down repeatedly.
My one experience with them was 285-70-16's on my old truck. Vibes from day one with a range of 4-10 ozs of weight to balance them. They would zero out but vibrated at freeway speeds. Sold them on Craigslist, replaced with Toyos and haven't had an issue since on either vehicle.

Before going to the 35 inch tires I ran a set of bf Goodrich at/ko's in 285's for 43,000 miles never had an issue with them. But all my front end components are all aftermarket if that makes a difference
