Super Tech 75/140
I noticed that my local Walmart is carring full synthetic Super Tech 75-140 GL-5 gear oil. Has anybody tried this stuff in the AAM 11.5? Price is $7.00 per qt. On my last change I ran 75-90 Mobil 1,but am thinking of going to 75-140 in the frt and rear on next change.

I order Redline products on-line for about the same cost you get in discount stores. And this way I get what I want at a good price. Super Tech might be good stuff, but it's also a risk not really knowing.

I agree, price is high for Wally's suff & who knows what it really is? On the weight, you really don't need 140 in the front, might save a little in MPG sticking with 75w/90 in the front (synthetic of course). 75w/90 synthetic in the rear is fine for towing as well. I would consider using 75w/140 in the rear diff if I towed > 10K during > 50% of my drive time. It's an entirely personal choice though...
Folks around here sure tend to like the Mobile 1 gear lube, espically if you have the anti-spin diff.
