Strorage

HI EVERYONE, question about storing my Truck. i am goin away on a trip for 6 months. is there anything i should do besides disconnect the battery. And people keep telling me it's bad not to run it for 6 months. is that true?

Fill the tank.Add some additive to keep algae growth in check.You could hook up battery tenders to keep batteries topped off.Not much else I'd do or worry about.My truck sits a lot.One long stretch of 3 plus months when I was ill.

Change the oil before you park it, battery tenders or disconnect, check air in tires(air them up to help prevent flat spots), fuel additive and full tank. You can acutally get away with doing none of this.
