I have this strange sound coming from engine. Okay what i did was pull all six injectors sent them off to be tested because my cold start. They were fine so I put them back in. In in the mean time (no injectors in, no plugs In for thethe fuel rail sensor in) I checked the grid heater while I had the Intake off. It threw some codes one was P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor High. Well got it all put back to togther cranked it white smoked for awhile and knocked real bad which was a fuel knock. Once it burnt all that out it now has this knock to it still and that after driving it about 20miles so i know there no extra fuel left. It did fix my cold start, i guess putting new o-rings and shims on the injectors. Is there a way for me to reset my codes??? Need some help guys.

Could this be a carbon knock from all the carbon that was produced with all the white smoke in whinch it smoked for about 20mins after I put them back in. Just maybe the nozzels are cover with carbon causeing a weird spraying pattern

 

I think there is a TSB for that code showing up. Not sure of the number, 18-032-06??? Good luck.
