Hey all I have a bit of a weird one on my 2003 HO Auto.

History: I blew up an engine (Injector stuck open...sucks!). I had the trans disconnected and lowered out of the way to complete the engine swap.

One the first shift of the run, the engine will run up to the rev limiter in first, defuel and hang in first gear. If I back off the throttle, the trans will shift to 2nd, and I get full power back.

It only does this once. After this it will shift well, but seems to require a lot of revs to shift still...so I guess the issue 'moderates'.

I'm going to check the TV cable, but its weird that it would be a physical issue and fail in this manner (Intermittent).

Any ideas?
