Steering wheel crooked and wobble
So on new years day I decided I would drive 135km/h on gravel just like usual but this day it was a little icy. I ended up hitting the ditch at about 60 to 70 km/h going through a fence that I had built this year and ended up being alot stronger than I thought it was. 14,000$ later in body work and she looks like new but there is a slight wobble in the front end at about 50 km/h to highway speed. I stuck my head out the window and noticed the wheel wobbling a little and my steering wheel is on a 60 degree angle. Im thinking alignment, u-joint, possibly even a bent rim? Its going to the dealer friday but I would like a heads up if possible...thanks in advance
-Mike
P.S. With the new paint im only going about 20 on gravel

wow, you would be lucky if you just bent a drag link on the steering linkage. I would start with balancing the wheels, then see if it aligns. U joints won't make the wheel wobble. Maybe separated the hub a little causing the wheel to wobble, but hard to tell. Hope you didn't bend anything else but if so i would show up during alignment. personally i would go somewhere other than dealer first for alignment...

The alignment and inspection will be covered by insurance and anything else that shows up possibly. Its a very slight wobble and the truck is not wandering so im not thinking anything too serious or I would have been able to tell so far I think.
