I have a 2006 mega cab 5.9L auto, stock. I'm having a issue starting the truck sometimes, truck turns over but wont fire. I plug in my computer to the obd2 plug and it can't communicate with the computer. After I wait 10min it seems to fix it self. Has anyone had this problem and can point me in the right direction to fix this issue.

Try pluging it back in when its running to check for codes

 

When it finally able to connect and engine starts, no codes come up but a ambiant temp sensor and rad fan codes.

 

I believe a relay that is related to the fan can cause a no start. I had one when my truck was brand new(200mi or so)

 

anyone know where this relay would be located?
