I just got my Stanadyne from Scheid Diesel......How much do you guys run per 35 gallon tank? I calculated about 10oz per tank.

 

At one time I had purchased a case of 8 oz bottles of Performance Formula. Now I mix half and half Stanadyne perf formula and lub formula and fill the 8 oz containers to the rim. That's close to 10 oz.

 

yup 10 ounces sounds right. thats what i use every tank, 10 ounces of the performance formula.

 

Stanadyne recommends a ratio of 500:1, so 35 gallons corresponds to 9 ounces. But you'll be lucky to get 30 gallons into the tank, so 8 ounces will do. And to keep life simple, I add 1 ounce for each eighth of a tank the gauge is down. A calibrated 8 ounce baby bottle and an offset funnel work great. Add the stuff before filling to ensure good mixing. Hope this helps!

I do the same as RC51. I bought 4 of the 8oz bottles and just refill to about halfway up the neck of the bottle after I empty them. You really don't need to be that particular though.

I can get 30 gallons in the tank no problem. Thanks to Daid Kelleys Vent Kit.
