Dash Noise, P2146, P2509

Dash Noise, P2146, P2509
2007 RAM 3500, 5.9 Stock with Edge Mileage Max.
Check Engine light came on the other day. Was throwing code P2509. Seemed to run ok, drove 5 miles and it lost a lot of power. Stopped and parked it, checked codes and got P2509 and P2146. Disconnected the Edge module, started truck and it drove crappy. Stopped, restarted and it ran fine.
Next day, disconnected both batteries, cleaned cables and battery posts (weren't really dirty or corroded) re-tightened all cables to batteries. Batteries both measured 12.89 volts. Last load test a month or so ago showed good on batteries. Started the truck everything was fine. Figured it was the Edge module.
A day or so later, go in it in the morning and when I turned the key on, a loud clicking noise was heard coming from the driver's side dash. Sounded like a solenoid trying to engage. Truck did not want to start, like it wasn't getting enough power. Did this twice. I did the "key thing" to check the codes and was getting the P2509 and P2146 again. Turned the key off, tried to start it and it fired right up. Been driving it for a couple of days now and the check engine light has gone off and the codes have disappeared.
What's up with all this, and especially the loud clicking/fluttering noise coming from behind the dash?

I hope you can find out what is wrong, mine has been doing the same thing for quite a while. I put in new batteries, which stopped it for a while, but just did it again last week. P2509 code is a Gremlin. Any help would be appreciated. I too get the noise coming from the dash, it is not loud tho.
