Happens to me occasionally when I get home and pull into the driveway, smells like my sons feet! I have been told it is the fumes from the oil I use. I don't see any fluilds leaking or levels going down; the smell isn't constant either, just occasional after pulling in after a long drive. Got almost 90k miles and no serious issue. If you find a problem related to it please post it up.

Are you smelling oil vapors coming from the draft tube?

I notice more smell right after I change the oil.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Look carefully for a oil saked rag with gear oil on it. Common prank.

Get a picture of the fluid , where it is on the chassis. It has to be coming from somewhere. Get a fairly wide shot, so we can see better where the location is.

Now that it has quit snowing here in Utah I had a chance to look around a little more. The smell in mine is the engine oil. I pulled the dipstick and WHOAAA, that's the smell. Not sure what brand it is because I just bought it two weeks ago. The oil is full and I don't see any leaks, must be venting somewhere around the cab.

Do you smell it only when the engine is running? It may be the exhaust. The exhaust on my 06 smells kinda sweet....in-a-burnt-diesel-fuel-thru-catalytic-converter kinda way.
Check for a exhaust leak.
Also a leaky battery will smell kinda sweet.
