Single Steering Stabilizer

I currently am running Skyjacker's dual front steering stabilizer kit.

With the front Mag Hytec diff cover, there no way the two will work together.

I am taking off the front dual stab kit and want to look for a high(er) end single stabilizer.

Fox, King, Fabtech......any suggestions?

The King from Don Thuren is about $265, and clamps onto the steering rod:

I like the Fabtech, because it bolts into the stock locations, and is a Dirt Logic brand for $230

Defiant has the Radflo 2.0 for about $220

Defiant also sells another for $170

Anyone else make a good, heavy duty unit?

Carli makes a high mount bilstein stabilizer, which keeps it out of harms way. They also make a bilstein replacement for the stock location. Both are very high quality and are nitrogen filled 7100s.

Suprisingly a lot of people think that the stock stablizer does an excellent job. I think they are better than a lot of the high dollar ones. I had a Rancho and it was a piece of crap. When I went to the new steering kit I used the stock stablizer and it does a great job.

From Don Thuren:
"Honestly, those MagHytec front covers cause a lot of clearance problems, so I usually suggest not running them. Even my single Fox stabilizer will not clear that cover. Function wise, my single fox is about 4 times as effective as your dual SJ kit."

Atleast he is honest!!!!

I know the Dirt Logic will clear, because it utilizes the stock mounting locations.

It seems like to the majority of the aftermarket line clamps onto the steering rod, and are typically longer than the bolt on versions, which must cause the clearance issues when using a front MH diff cover

I have the carlio one... Works great and was easy to install! I also installed a BD steering box stabilizer at the same time...
