Just curious.....Has anyone seen a noticeable drop in EGTs when they removed the silencer ring? I was just wondering if it would make any difference or not.

No. It is generally agreed upon that the silencer ring is only to take the big rig wistle out of our little turbos. I saw absolutely no change in egt's, fuel mileage, or power when I took mine out. It will give you a large grin on your face though

 

it does lower milege do to a heavy foot
