Should I be worried....

my check engine light came on today . I have had the truck for a month it is stock, it only has 4700 miles. What could it be??? any ideas

Use the key "Trick" to check for codes. It's probably something silly.

Key on /off/on/off/on and read the code/s displayed on the digital odometer. Then post back.

When you turn teh key, just turn to the on position, then just back until the lights go off, then on, then off then on. You will see a series of codes. I bet it's NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!!

i must be stupid because i cant get any codes to show up, all i get is the miles and gear selector.

P2509: ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent

I would take it to the dealer on that one. Could be as simple as a bad ground or harness connection somewhere.
