shorted wire

has anyone had there truck have the "hiccups" from the shorted wire? And where do you check for the shorted wire?

First place to check is the wire loom running next to the AC compressor. Can be viewed from underneath the truck.

just got done checking does not look like I have fallen victim to this bad wire. Could not find any wires that looked chaffed of stripped

I really had to get a close look and couldn't find any bare spots. But for good measure cleaned the area and bandaged it anyway. Made a significant improvement.
