Went to get the govenor solenoid today and the dealer also suggested that I also replace the pressure switch along with the solenoid. They said they have replaced several solenoids only to have the problem return. He said once they replace both solenoid and switch,they have had no repeat problems. What does anybody else think? Switch is $73, solenoid is $118.

I would. Do it while you're in there and save the time, effort and money of doing it again.

 

Droped the pan this morning, changed the solenoid, pressure switch, and filter. Took about 1 1/2 hours works perfect.
