Shift points
I would think that if people can make boxes like the Smarty to manipulate the engine module, they ought to be able to do the same thing for the transmission control module. Maybe there just isn't enough demand?
Id love to be able to adjust my shift points - but even more than that, Id like to find a way to disable overdrive on my '05. I do a fair amount of stop-and-go city driving, and it drives me nuts how often the transmission lugs the engine. My RPM's are typically between 1100 and 1400 unless I'm on the highway. Can't be too good for the engine - although I also drive 70mph+ on the highway on a regular basis, so I suppose that makes up for some of the lugging?
