Thumbs down Shaeffer synthetic differential oil update

I had my Diffs changed out with the shaeffers synthetic 75w-90w about 2-3 weeks ago.Bad news I have had alot of Chatter while making turns, needless to say back to the amsoil severe gear for me.Just wanted to keep everyone updated on the Shaeffers project. The engine oil supreme 9000 5w-40 has been fine up to this point.coobie

Hey Man, am I glad you said something about this. I was real close to putting in the schaeffers but opted for the amsoil 75w90 severe gear. I am doing the change tommorrow. I take it you have used the amsoil before. I am just hoping that I dont experience any gear chatter. I was worried for a second. I do have the anti-slip 11.50 rear diff and it does not require the additive. Do you think I will be ok....Thanks

Yes I have used the Amsoil severe gear previous to the Shaeffers for about 20,000 miles with no gear chatter.I think you will be fine with the Amsoil, coobie.
