Before I start the fluid change on my NV5600, what type of sealant are you all using when reinstalling the PTO cover. From what I've read, there is no gasket for this application, correct? I do not have fast coolers either if that makes a difference.

I use "The Right Stuff" from Napa. Works great, ready to refill in minutes

 

I have used gaskets or orange RTV. The gaskets for a six bolt PTO are all the same.

 

I got some black Permatex gasket maker. It's high temp and oil resistant, or so it says.

 

I agree "The Right Stuff". It's hard to beat.
